Leadership Nominations

In the month of May (now extended until June 7), we are encouraging LBCSJ members to prayerfully nominate members-in-good standing for leadership roles in the church. Specifically, we are looking for nominations for elders-in-training, deacons-in-training and discipleship group leaders.

Youth Boba & Board Game Activity

June 7 @Snoopy House                                                                                     

There will be a Youth Boba & Board Game activity, where parents are welcome to drop off their youth (10+) to spend time with youth group servants. Parents and helpers should’ve received an email with details–please remember to RSVP by Monday, June 2. If you have questions, you can reach out to Steven Hong.

Summer Bible Camp 

June 16-20 @Serra Park                                                                                      

We will be hosting the Summer Bible Camp for children ages 9 and under. The theme will be “Built on Jesus” based on Ephesians 2:19-20. For more details (including pricing) and family/volunteer sign-ups please use the QR code 

Youth Retreat

August 3-5 @Mission Springs, Scotts Valley                                               

We will be hosting a Youth Retreat for youth ages 10+. Members who are parents of youth and helpers should have received an email with registration details from Steven Hong. 

Ministry Breaks for Nursery, Children’s and Youth Ministries

In addition to the first Sundays being off for communion, please be aware that the following ministries will be on break: Children's Ministry (June 1, 8, and 15), Nursery Ministry (June 22, 29, and July 6) and Youth (July 13, 20, and 27).

New Visitor Gift

If you are a new visitor today, we have a small gift as our appreciation for visiting the church. For those with children we also have a book gift for them as well, so please stop by the welcome table after service to pick it up.

Counseling & Prayer

If you would like to speak with someone for counsel and prayer, or if you are new to LBCSJ and have questions about our church, please look for someone on our Member Care team – who will be wearing a name tag – after service and they will be happy to speak with you. If you are attending virtually, please contact us using the Contact form on our website (lbcsj.com/contact-us), and someone will get back to you.

Offering/Giving

We are using a platform called Givelify – www.givelify.com for online giving (instructions/FAQ are on the LBCSJ website). Checks (no cash) can be mailed to the following address: 5273 Prospect Rd.  #161 San Jose, CA 95129.
