Members Meeting

August 24 @ SDA Church

There will be a Members Meeting after service at 11am in the sanctuary, with lunch to follow. For lunch cost, please venmo @LBCSJ (“LBCSJ Finance”) with “FirstName_LastName_AugLunch” in the comments. $10/family and $5/individual.

Singles Ministry 

August 24 @ Leung Home

The Singles will be gathering together for a potluck fellowship at 4pm. If you have any questions, please speak with Lyndon Leung.

Nursery, Children's and Youth Staff Equipping

September 7 @ SDA Church

For 2nd Hour, we will have a Staff Meeting in the main sanctuary. Everyone who serves on Nursery, Children’s or Youth staff are invited to come for a time of equipping and to hear updates related to these ministries for the upcoming school year.

Save-the-Date: All-Church Retreat

October 24-26 @ Mt. Hermon Retreat Site, Felton, CA

We will be hosting our annual All-Church Retreat in October. We will be joined by Drs. Nicholas Ellen and Vanessa Ellen from Community of Faith Bible Church in Houston, Texas who will be preaching the Word for us. Stay tuned for more information and please save-the-date.

New Visitor Gift

If you are a new visitor today, we have a small gift as our appreciation for visiting the church. For those with children we also have a book gift for them as well, so please stop by the welcome table after service to pick it up.

Counseling & Prayer

If you would like to speak with someone for counsel and prayer, or if you are new to LBCSJ and have questions about our church, please look for someone on our Member Care team – who will be wearing a name tag – after service and they will be happy to speak with you. If you are attending virtually, please contact us using the Contact form on our website (lbcsj.com/contact-us), and someone will get back to you.

Offering/Giving

We are using a platform called Givelify – www.givelify.com for online giving (instructions/FAQ are on the LBCSJ website). Checks (no cash) can be mailed to the following address: 5273 Prospect Rd.  #161 San Jose, CA 95129.
